Patti Blenden will lead this seminar and help attendees to update their regulatory compliance GPS!

Global positioning systems (GPS) provide reliable location and time information in all weather and at all times and anywhere on or near the Earth when and where there is an unobstructed line of sight to four or more GPS satellites.  We cannot survive without a reliable GPS for Regulatory Compliance to get through this maze ahead of us… NOW!!!!  There is such a deluge of new laws, regulatory amendments with exceptions and exemptions, regulatory amendments to the recent regulatory amendments, threatening guidance and general chaos  - we could use some help to make sure our navigational instinct is strong and ready to take on the extra weight of a hurricane-force rush of new and updated regulations.  Then we have the recent guidance documents….more like dangerous “Detour Signs”...  It’s a great time to brush up on your risk assessment and regulatory compliance program management skills.  This is a time that calls for the “best of your best” to effectively and efficiently navigate the dangerous curves and cliffs ahead.

Let’s break from the daily grind at the office, take a deep breath and carefully re-examine our process to ensure that we have identified the true risks associated with everything we do as banks. Think of it as buying an updated road atlas for the new year!  Brush up on a methodical, common sense process to quantify the identified risks in three very important areas in within your required compliance governance program.  Determine what we must do to prepare for the future, together.  Maybe our GPS systems don’t quite yet have the updated DVD for this massive new set of highways and byways, but we can certainly learn better approaches to navigate, safely and soundly.  Hey, maybe we can even share a laugh or two!  A sense of humor is vital to thriving in this new world!  We can do this together – bring it on!!!
