SCHOOL OVERVIEW

Complying with federal banking regulations is a demanding, time consuming and expensive task; therefore, a thorough understanding of the various laws and regulations governing your operations is essential in today’s environment. The Carolinas Regulatory Compliance School helps financial institutions meet the compliance challenge by providing intensive training on the various regulatory requirements. Designed for personnel who monitor or manage your institution’s compliance, the Compliance School provides the most effective training available anywhere today.

The Compliance School curriculum includes all major federal regulations covered in on-site compliance examinations by federal regulatory agencies. Attendees will:

  • Develop an understanding of the compliance regulations governing financial institutions.
  • Learn how to anticipate and prevent potential violations.
  • Receive practical instruction and advice from instructors who work with compliance issues daily.
  • Receive a detailed manual which will serve as a valuable reference and training tool.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

All employees of financial institutions who can benefit from additional training in compliance issues are eligible to attend. It is recommended, however, that students have at least one year’s experience in a functional area of banking such as lending officer, compliance officer, auditor, cashier, etc. Instruction is at the basic to intermediate level.
